Website terms of use
The terms on which you use this website.
Who these terms are for
These terms govern your use of veridatum.co.uk as a visitor. If your organisation has signed an Order Form with us, the relationship is governed by that Order Form and the Veridatum Terms and Conditions, which take precedence over this page for everything covered by them.
The site is information, not advice
The pages here describe what our service does. Nothing on this site is professional, engineering, fire safety, legal or regulatory advice, and nothing on it should be relied on in deciding whether a building is safe or compliant. Those judgements belong to the accountable person and their appointed professionals.
The case study
The findings shown on this site come from a real evidence-recovery exercise on a single building, anonymised. They illustrate the kind of thing the service surfaces. They are not a promise of what it will find in your archive, which depends entirely on what your archive contains.
Acceptable use
Use the site lawfully. Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it or to the demo, probe or scan it other than under our vulnerability disclosure policy, introduce malicious code, scrape it at a rate that degrades it for others, or use it to build a competing dataset.
Intellectual property
The content, design, text and graphics on this site belong to us or our licensors. You may read, print and share pages for your own or your organisation's internal evaluation. You may not republish, sell or systematically copy them without our written permission.
Links to other sites
Where we link to another organisation's site we do so for reference. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.
Availability
This is a public information site. We do not promise that it will be available uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or withdraw any part of it. Service levels for the Veridatum platform are a separate matter and are set out in the support schedule that accompanies an Order Form.
Liability
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site, or from reliance on anything on it. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Privacy and cookies
How we handle personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy. The cookies this site sets are listed in the Cookie Notice.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date at the foot of this page shows when they last changed. They are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
